Events to Enjoy in 2016
With the New Year fast approaching, 2016 is already shaping up to be a memorable year. Whether it’s your first time in the country, or you have been here for a while, there is a long list of events and activities to look out for in the New Year. If you thought 2015 was eventful, 2016 looks to be even better.
We’ve just about got Christmas out of the way, our bellies are full and our alcohol has magically disappeared. The New Year is fast approaching, and whether you want to explore a new country, lose weight or just have fun, there are plenty of events in London in 2016.

Fans of Asian culture will love to know that London hosts the biggest Chinese New Year celebration outside of Asia. Explore China Town in the heart of Leicester Square, which includes fine dining, parades, performances and fireworks. Celebrate the Chinese New Year and the year of the monkey on February 8th.
Valentine’s Day
Speaking of February, why not treat yourself and a loved one, to a day of luxury in London. Valentine’s Day falls on February 14th. Why not move away from the usual flowers and chocolates, and enjoy a day in the big city. From restaurants to romantic locations, London has a lot to offer for you and a loved one in 2016.

The London Marathon returns in 2016! For those of you looking for a new challenge in the New Year and want to burn of the added seasonal calories, why not sign up to the Virgin Money London Marathon 2016. Whether you are running, walking or just cheering from the side-lines, this is your chance to be part of one of the biggest sporting events of the New Year.
