An Easter to Remember

Ah Easter, a time of eating too much chocolate and instantly regretting it when you’re sick later. It’s also of course, the religious period celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. There are many events to keep you busy over the Easter period, whether it’s celebrating the religion or simply eating way too much chocolate, there’s something for everyone.

Let’s start simple, Easter is associated with chocolate and Easter eggs. If you’re bored of just simply buying chocolate from your local supermarket, then why not check out some of these events in and around London.

The Chocolate Festival

Homer

Yes you read that correctly, a festival is appearing this year in London that celebrates all things chocolate. Not quite as luxurious as the chocolate land Homer Simpson visits in his fantasy, The chocolate festival in Angel is scheduled to run for three days, which is set to include lots of free yummy samples as well as some very unique attractions including:

A cocoa spa

Chocolate Art Displays

Chocolate Making Workshops

Easter Egg Hunt

Forget your traditional egg hunts, as Battersea Park Zoo is holding their very own Easter egg hunt of their own. Why is their hunt different I hear you ask? Well these eggs are hidden amongst the animal enclosures! Not to worry though, you won’t have to get up and close with any killer animals, as all you need to do is look for brightly coloured eggs when you’re walking around the zoo. This is a great event for those with young children, so what are you waiting for? Get to it and treat the family.

Tickets to participate cost £1.50 as well as usual zoo prices to enter
